Lebanese citizen Maroun Nohra was shot dead inside his vehicle on Wednesday in the town of Majdelyoun, eastern Sidon, near al-Bassam supermarket.
In the details, an identified assailant shot the 47-year-old man four times, hitting him twice in the chest, once in the face and once in the shoulder. The victim was immediately transported to Labib Medical Center in Sidon where he died of his wounds.
A video footage from surveillance cameras found in the area showed the moment the crime took place, when the assailant shot Nohra when the latter was inside his vehicle.
Security forces rushed to the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
