Future bloc: No national or political legitimacy for Hezbollah’s battles in Arsal

The Future Bloc said on Tuesday that there is no national or political legitimacy for the battles carried out by Hezbollah in the border town of Arsal.

“Hezbollah is undermining the prestige and authority of the Lebanese state and is driving the country and the Lebanese people into the unknown,” the bloc added following its weekly meeting.

The MPs noted that the Lebanese army must occupy the positions that the militants withdraw from, and that in order to safeguard the borders.
