Kahwaji and Progressive Socialist Party discuss latest developments
LAF Commander Jean Kahwaji met with a delegation from the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) headed by Minister of Social Affairs Wael Abu Faour on Monday. Discussions tackled current developments.        

According to the PSP’s statement, the delegation assured that the PSP stands by the military institution; “all political parties have the duty not to throw the LAF in narrow political and factional disputes; I call on all parties to rally around the military institution”.           

The LAF Commander also met with MPs Kazem al-Kheir and Emile Rahme as well as a delegation from Al-Jamaa Islamiya with whom he discussed the necessity to maintain the all Lebanese people’s confidence in the military institution.
