LAF soldier succumbs to his wounds

A Lebanese Army corporal succumbed to injuries he sustained during the Lebanese army’s “Fajer al-Jouroud” offensive, the Army Command declaredin a statement Wednesday.

Cpl. Aref Diab (34 years old) passed away on Tuesday due to injuries he sustained after a roadside mine exploded in his unit on the outskirts of the border town of Arsal on August 20.

Diab is married with one child.
