Three conferences regarding Lebanon or issues that concern the country were called for by French President Emmanuel Macron during the visit of Prime Minister Saad Hariri to Paris.
Conference Rome 2, the date of which will be set following discussions with the members of the Support Group for Lebanon and the Italian government and is expected to fall during the upcoming year.
An international conference to support investment in Lebanon, that will be called for by international investors, chief among which the World Bank. Sources close to Hariri told LBCI that Macron’s assistants at the Elysee dubbed the conference Paris 4.
A conference will also be held to discuss the return of the Syrian refugees to their home country.
