Prime Minister Saad Hariri declared that the Lebanese Armed Forces Command will handle the coordination with the Russian authorities on the military level, expressing relief over the outcome of the discussions held during his visit to Moscow.
During the cabinet session, Hariri praised the cooperation, on which the Russian leaders were keen in the economic and touristic fields, adding that the Russians were enthusiastic over investing in the energy sector in Lebanon.
Commenting on Fajr al-Jouroud battle, he stated that the battle was accomplished with minimum losses among the army, adding that the political authorities followed up closely on the operation, while the army implemented it professionally and to perfection without any glitch.
The PM called for ending the debate over the circumstances of the operation, stressed that the government’s unity achieves confidence.
