REPORT: Parliamentary session convenes
A parliamentary session was convened on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Speaker Nabih Berri.
 
During the session, Berri said that the Development and Liberation bloc submitted a suggestion to shorten the parliament’s mandate.
 
For his part, MP Wael Abou Faour addressed Berri by saying: “we trust your wisdom and the wisdom of Prime Minister Saad Hariri in holding the parliamentary polls o their due time.”
 
“No political or technical considerations should avert the holding of these elections,” he added.
