The government sent a bill on Tuesday to the Parliament requesting to delay the implementation of the pay scale law until the tax hike law is approved.
This as such step was taken after the Constitutional Council revoked a tax hike law aimed at funding the pay scale following an appeal submitted by ten MPs led by Kataeb party leader Sami Gemayel.
