Interior Ministry says has nothing to do with increase of valet parking tariff

Ministry of Interior declared on Friday that some media outlets circulated rumors that the valet parking tariffs were raised from 5000 LBP to 10 000 LBP in Beirut area.

The media outlets have attributed such a decision to Ministry of Interior.

In this context, the Ministry issued a statement in which it said that the decision to raise the valet parking tariffs solely belongs to Ministries of Tourism and Economy, adding that the Ministry of Interior’s role is to circulate such a decision.
