Introduction to the evening news 01-06-2012
President Michel Sleiman held a meeting with the Saudi king on Friday. The meeting preceded a lunch with Saudi foreign minister alongside former PM Saad Hariri. This is the first meal between Hariri and Sleiman since Hariri’s stepping out of power.

PM Miakti returned from Turkey with mystery still surrounding the fate of Lebanese hostages.

For his part, Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah addressed the kidnappers, calling on them to draw a line between the issue of hostages and personal issues with him.

“Settle the scores with me and release the innocent people. If you want war we can have war, if you want peace then we can solve it in peace," he said.

The question raised here is the following: how will the kidnappers react to these statements? If positively, then the abductee crisis will see positive developments; however, if the abductors’ reaction is negative, similar to the previous one, the hostage case will head towards further aggravation.

Before diving into details, victims, aged between 6 and 8, fall under the grip of a beast disguised as a teacher: a sexual assault oscillating between “harassment” and “rape”.
