The file of the waste crisis returned to the forefront as the cabinet approved the rules of procedures of the thermal decomposition to turn waste into energy and the expansion of the Bourj Hammoud and Costa Brava landfills.
However, the cabinet did not discuss the alternative plan presented by the Environment Ministry.
