It may be true that the expression of “disassociation policy” was not used in the ministerial statement of the current cabinet, but other expressions explaining this policy were used such as “refraining from interfering in the affairs of Arab states,” “refraining from harming Arab relations,” “committing to the Arab League,” and others.
However, Prime Minister Hariri has set a series of conditions, apart from the disassociation, to be discussed with top officials.
Among these conditions:
- Applying the concept of the disassociation policy, rather than keeping it ink on paper,
- Preserving Lebanon’s internal political, economic and security stability,
- Preventing Lebanon from turning into a field to destroy the relations with Arab States.
