Middle East Airlines office at Beirut International Airport told LBCI that work is underway to remove the Christmas tree set up on site.
The airport’s tree had triggered a wave of criticism on social media since it was made up of metal parts related to aircrafts and aviation.
Some said that the tree lacks the Christmas spirit, especially since the airport represents Lebanon’s façade.
