President Aoun: Lebanon has folded the page of crisis

President Michel Aoun said on Wednesday that “Lebanon has won” after Tuesday’s Cabinet session that affirmed Lebanon's commitment to the dissociation policy.”

“With the Cabinet’s statement, the winner is Lebanon which managed to safeguard its stability and security with the unity of its people,” Aoun added.

He also noted that Lebanon has folded the page on the crisis, adding that the government will resume its work and continue preparations for the next polls.”

“Many common points can be reached that would promote stability and fortify unity among the Lebanese people through dialogue on various issues of concern to them, especially the defense strategy,” Aoun concluded by saying.
