Speaker Nabih Berri stressed on Wednesday that he will not address the topic of the decree of the officers who graduated in 1994 despite its importance, but will leave it to be addressed by President Michel Aoun.
Berri was quoted by MPs at Ain Al-Tineh praising the position of the European Union concerning the regional issues, starting from Palestine and Jerusalem to Lebanon.
On another note, Berri decided to form a committee that consists of deputies Ali Amar and Hani Kobaisi to work with Minister of Energy Cesar Abi Khalil to follow-up on the electricity issue in the suburbs of Beirut and the South.
Deputy Ali Amar pointed out that, “There is a fabricated crisis concerning the electricity in the South and the suburbs of Beirut.”
