Kanaan accuses Future Movement of hindering public funds approval

PM Ibrahim Kanaan said on Friday that the recently-approved expenditure draft law is a “duplicate” of the 8.9 trillion draft law including the modification introduced by the Finance and Budget Committee.

Kanaan said that there is no excuse for the parliament not to pass the draft law.

Kannan confirmed that obstacles to “the approval of extra-budgets and loans are the result of a decision taken by the Future Movement and its allies to pass the draft law related to the $ 11 billion, which constitutes a violation of previous expenses.”
