Minister Guidanian to LBCI: Lebanon witnessed significant growth in tourism in 2017

Minister of Tourism Avedis Guidanian said on Saturday that Lebanon witnesses a significant growth in the tourism sector in 2017 despite all crises.

“The number of tourists who are coming to Lebanon is good given what is happening in the neighboring countries,” the minister asserted during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show.

He also noted that the political stability in the country will contribute to the influx of more Lebanese expatriates and tourists.

“We convinced major companies that organize conferences in Europe to put Lebanon on their top priorities in an attempt to activate the tourism of conferences in Lebanon,” he concluded by saying.
