The Presidency’s media office stressed Monday that President Michel Aoun is committed to accept the decision issued by the concerned judicial authorities regarding the decree granting seniority for the officers of 1994, stating that the judiciary is the best resort to finalize the debates over the legality of the decrees and procedures issued by the executive authority.
The media office issued a statement in this regard said that President Aoun sees that the debate over said decree has taken a path opposing the norms, adding that Aoun will leave the final decision to be issued by the judicial authorities.
