Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea stressed Friday that his meeting with US Acting Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs David Satterfield was mainly centered about the issue of the disputed areas at the land and maritime borders between Lebanon and Israel, noting that the US envoy has solutions and he has proposed them to the president, speaker and prime minister as well as the foreign minister.
Geagea emphasized that everyone must exert efforts in order to preserve all national rights, whether on land or in the sea, without leaving for any foreign party the chance to take advantage of this case.
He added that the cabinet should discuss the solutions proposed by the US envoy in order to reach a solution that could open the horizon towards a better future for the country.
