Hezbollah condemns tax imposition on churches in Jerusalem

Hezbollah said on Monday that the U.S. State Department’s decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem on May 14 is a continuation of the aggression initiated by the US President Donald Trump months ago.

In a statement, Hezbollah also called on the Arab and Islamic people to make effective steps to stand against it, stressing that the resistance and the Intifada are the effective way to restore the occupied land and all holy sites.

On another note, Hezbollah condemned Israel’s decision to impose taxes on churches and holy sites in Jerusalem.

“Jerusalem is for all believers of all heavenly religions, the statement added.

Hezbollah concluded by calling all countries, free people and effective organizations to stand against such attempt of to disrespect the sanctities of Muslims and Christians.
