Opposition groups protest against government raising fuel prices in Jordan
Thousands of Jordanians flocked into the streets on Friday calling on the government to resign after raising fuel prices and delaying democratic reforms implementation.

The peaceful demonstration kicked off in eight provinces against a surprise government decision to raise the fuel prices for the second time in ten days.

The protesters held banners saying “Instead of raising fuel prices, punish corrupts” and “We want constitutional reform and let the people see the light”. "Leave the palace and see how Jordanians live," they chanted.
