Huge fire in Antelias bush, threatens nearby houses

A huge fire erupted on Monday in the bushes area of Antelias in the district of Metn, near the building of “Risalat al-Hayat”. Rescue teams hurried to the place and are working on putting the fire out.

The fire is threatening nearby houses and apartments.

Elsewhere, a fire erupted near houses of tin and plastic on Tyre – Naqoura road; the houses are inhabited by Syrian workers and their families who fled to nearby orchards.

The workers tried to put out the fire using primitive means, before the arrival of civil defense teams. No injuries were reported.
