The cabinet convened Tuesday in a regular session at Baabda presidential palace under the chairmanship of President Michel Aoun and in the presence of Prime Minister Saad Hariri and the ministers.
the cabinet has 48 items on its agenda, including the request of the Higher Council for Privatization to overcome obstacles faced by the council’s directorate general in order to implement the requested work, the Defense Ministry’s proposal for a draft agreement for a military cooperation between the Lebanese and the Russian governments, authorizing the minister to sign said agreement during his official visit to Russia, and other urgent matters that need decisions to be taken in their regard.
Prior to the session, a closed meeting was held between President Aoun and MP Hariri to discuss the latest developments.
