Public Works Minister Youssef Finianos stressed Thursday that the landing of the world’s largest plane Airbus A380 in Beirut International Airport is a historical event, “since this is the first time the airport receives this type of aircraft.”
During the ceremony held to receive the A380 in Lebanon, the minister said that the expansion process taking place at Beirut airport qualifies it to receive the largest planes.
