Hundreds of cars trapped on Akkar roads
A number of residents blocked on Tuesday, roads in Akkar, mainly Halba – Qobayyat highway, in protest of electricity outage in the region.     

The protesters set up a tent on al-Bireh – Qobayyat highway, where all the roads between Halba and Qobayyat and between al-Bireh and the neighboring towns.              

Roads were also blocked in a great number of Akkar municipalities, where hundreds of cars were trapped. The protesters insist that they will not reopen the roads before the electricity gets back.
