Democratic Renewal Movement commemorates the memory of Nassib Lahoud

The Democratic Renewal Movement commemorated on Tuesday the memory of late Minister and MP Nassib Lahoud.                    

MP Boutros Harb said that Lahoud had a scientific and objective approach; "he based his political analysis on knowledge and logic and never gave up dignity and vigor", he said.                      

Harb stressed that he will continue the fight to save the nation and purify it from the malignancies that infiltrate into it.      

MP Walid Jumblatt delivered the speech of Dreid Yaghi, saying that Nassib combined nationalism with integrity, politics and economy. Throughout his life, he only complied with the voice of conscience.      

For his part, former MP Mosbah al Ahdab said that Nassib Lahoud never failed to respect values and principles; “his stances were transparent and his behavior was fair”, he said.     

Al Ahdab said that Lahoud never adopted a political stance without studying it from every angle, adding that he never fought for a case without understanding its dimensions.
