Aoun meets Foucher, Le Drian to visit Lebanon after elections

President Michel Aoun held on Monday talks with French ambassador to Lebanon Bruno Foucher at the Baabda Palace.

Discussions reportedly featured high over the results of the Cedre conference held in Paris whereby Foucher praised Lebanon’s determination of carrying out reforms.

He also told Aoun that French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian intends to visit Lebanon after the elections, adding that the visit of French President Emanuel Macron to Lebanon remains but the visit’s date are yet to be set.
