The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE), in cooperation with Democracy Reporting International (DRI) conducted a study criticizing the new electoral law.
The study’s critic is mainly based on international standards of democratic elections, such as distributing the seats on religious basis, registering the voters in their town of origin rather than town of residence, as well as other items.
The study ends with a series of recommendations for a more democratic electoral process.
