Machnouq: Expats voting is success for all Lebanese

Minister of Interior Nouhad Machnouq said on Sunday that the monitoring of the elections with this precision is the first of its kind in Lebanon and the Arab world’s history.

Machnouq’s comments were made during a press conference in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs whereby he noted that today’s elections are not a pride for Interior or Foreign Affairs Ministers but for all Lebanese people.

He also noted that 400 out of 6000 registered voters did not receive their passports.

Machnouq concluded by praising the efforts deployed by the Lebanese ambassadors, Consuls in order to make the elections successful.
