Cars swept away, six injured in flash floods in Turkey
Flash floods caused by heavy rain wreaked havoc in the Turkish capital Ankara's Mamak district on Saturday injuring six people, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

Videos obtained by private Ihlas news agency (IHA) showed dramatic footage of drivers trying to escape from their vehicles and several cars being swept down the street by flood waters.

Municipality workers rushed to the scene to pull out stranded cars, IHA reported. Dozens of vehicles were damaged and many shops were flooded.
