MP Boutros Harv stressed that a series of legal and administrative violations, as well as pressures, have been detected during the course of the parliamentary elections, declaring however that he will refuse to file a petition challenging the results, in respect of the voters’ choice.
He vowed to stand by the citizens and never to abandon them, stressing commitment to his responsibility as an observer citizen.
Harb said that “depriving him from the votes of the Lebanese people will end up in depriving them and him the opportunity of representing them,” emphasizing that he will deal with the elections results objectively.
He also hoped that the results will serve the interests of Lebanon and the people.
