Caretaker Minister Riachi: No agreement over World Cup yet

Caretaker Minister of Information Melhem Riachi said on Tuesday that no agreement has been reached yet over the football World Cup’s games, adding that negations are still underway in this regard.

The ministry is seeking to have the broadcast rights of the FIFA World Cup 2018 to show the games free of charge to football fans in Lebanon.

SAMA group is beIN Media's exclusive distributor in Lebanon. If negotiations with SAMA succeeded, Tele Liban will screen the World Cup games free of charge to each Lebanese households.
