Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri declared Wednesday that he discussed with President Michel Aoun the issue of the cabinet formation, stressing that the atmosphere is positive and he will return to Baabda within the next few days to complete the talks.
Following his meeting with Aoun at Baabda presidential palace, Hariri pointed out that some issues has been resolved concerning the cabinet formation.
“Any reports of a conflict with Aoun do not exist,” he confirmed, adding that “they are both working to serve the country’s interest.”
On another note, he said that he agreed with Aoun over a united stance over the issue of the Syrian refugees and means to deal with the matter.
