Thousands await ladies’ man pop star Enrique Iglesias

International pop star Enrique Iglesias, known for his on stage charm and "sexy guy" persona, will perform tonight at Beirut’s water front.

Iglesias arrived in the Lebanese capital Tuesday evening and spoke directly to LBCI’s cameras. Iglesias said that he will be performing the latest tunes he released since his last Beirut concert in summer 2011.

This is the second time the Latino pop start performs in the nation’s capital.

Iglesias was born in Madrid, Spain, and is the third and youngest child of singer Julio Iglesias and socialite and magazine journalist Isabel Preysler. His mother is Filipina and his father is of Spanish ancestry from Galicia and Andalusia. His parents' marriage was annulled in 1979

His career started in 1995, however By 1999, Iglesias had begun a crossover career into the English language music market after the successful release of “Bailamos”.
