Nikki Haley mentions a regional terrorist threat; Hezbollah responds

The United States did not let the meeting between Hezbollah and Houthi leadership pass without a response.

In this regard, US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley posted a tweet, where she included the photo of said meeting, with the comment: “This meeting b/w Hezbollah & Houthi leadership shows the nature of the regional terrorist threat. Iranian proxies in Lebanon & Yemen pose major dangers to peace & stability in the entire Middle East. The int’l community should be taking notice of this & be very concerned.”

In turn, Hezbollah responded to the American comment, as a source from the party told LBCI that Hezbollah and the US are on opposite sides, “and while the United States stands with the killers, we stand by the besieged people.”

“They are partners in the siege, this is why we understand their political background, but if there’s a state tampering with the security and stability of the region, it is the United States, and it is the last state allowed to give lessons in security and stability,” the Hezbollah source stated.
