Caretaker State Minister for Refugees’ Affairs Mouin al-Merehbi stressed Sunday that they are betting on the Special tribunal for Lebanon to achieve justice, noting that the tribunal is the best place to determine the responsibilities and criminals.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, he stated that the judges set the appropriate the deadlines to issue verdicts, emphasizing the importance of uncovering the criminals and their plots.
On the political level, Merehbi said that they agreed over equal sharing, “but the Free Patriotic Movement, caretaker Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil and President Michel Aoun have been trying to take us back to the era of political Maronites,” calling for putting an end to the sectarian and partisan sharing and corruption.
