Jreissaty to LBCI: I think Aoun's ministers will attend tomorrow’s cabinet session
Labor Minister Salim Jreissaty told Nharkom Said on Sunday that the Change and Reform bloc ministers were not informed of a decision to boycott tomorrow’s cabinet session.

“They haven’t even talked about it and I think they will attend tomorrow’s session”, he said.

On the stance of Change and Reform bloc leader General Michel Aoun who rejected the referral of the case of Sheikh Abdul Wahed and his companion to the Judicial Coucil, Chatah said that this stance is not discretionary, but based on legal, constitutional and national reasons.

Chatah stressed that the bloc’s stance on this issue is firm, pointing out that the bloc is coordinating with its allies in this regard.

“How can we trust the Judicial Council and not trust military courts? How exactly is the state working properly in such a case?” Chatah wondered.

Sheikh Abdul Wahid and his companion Sheikh Mohammad al-Mereb were killed on the 20th of May after failing to stop at an LAF checkpoint while on route to a rally organized by MP Khaled Daher in Halba to commemorate the killing of Future Movement supporters during clashes in 2008.
