Aoun voices support for forming a majority Cabinet

President Michel Aoun said on Friday that there are two types of governments, a national coalition government or a majority government.

“If we are not able to form a national coalition government, let’s form a majority one according to the applicable rules and whoever does not want to participate in it, then let them stay out of it,” Aoun said during talks with journalists upon his return from New York.

On another note, Aoun lamented the ongoing rumors targeting him personally.

As for linking the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland with a political solution in Syria, Aoun said that the International community is adamant on linking these two matters together, adding that there is a particular politics related - background for such an issue.
