Berri cables Angola President over shutting down Lebanese shops
Speaker Nabih Berri cabled on Thursday President of Angola Joao Lourenco, urging him to “intervene to reopen the commercial shops owned by the Lebanese, after they had been forcibly shut down, in addition to the arrest of their owners without any reason."

Berri also added in the cable that this situation will not only cause damage to the Lebanese but they will also harm Angola itself.

This as Berri contacted Caretaker Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, and Lebanese General Security head Abbas Ibrahim to carry on contacts with security officials in Angola.
