Aoun: Lebanon committed to Cedre Conference’s recommendations and implementation of economic plan

President Michel Aoun asserted on Friday Lebanon’s commitment to Cedre Conference’s recommendations and to the implementation of the economic plan.

Aoun’s comments were made during his meeting with a parliamentary delegation from the French National Assembly and the French Senate, in the presence of French Ambassador to Lebanon Bruno Foucher.

On another note, Aoun highlighted that giving International aid to Syrian refugees inside Syria encourages them to return to their homeland.

He also stressed that Lebanon will not accept any prejudice to its sovereignty, independence and free decision.

This as Aoun cabled Jordan's King Abdullah to convey his condolences over the death of at least 20 people in flash floods, most of them children on a school outing.
