Mufti Derian: We stand beside Hariri who is fighting to form harmonious government

Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian voiced on Monday his optimism over the formation of a new Cabinet “no matter how strong are the storms and growing obstacles.”

Derian’s comments were made on the occasion of the Birth of Prophet Muhammad whereby he said that obstacles facing the formation process id not Sunnite but political.

“All political powers must cooperate to solve this knot,” he added.

“We stand beside Prime Minister – designate Saad Hariri who is fighting to form a harmonious government that addresses the problems,” Mufti Derian stressed.

He concluded by highlighting that the Cabinet formation is a necessity and a joint national responsibility for all political powers.
