Lebanon’s expenditures stir controversy
The municipality of Beirut granted a contribution of one million dollar to BEASTS Association, in order to put up a Christmas village, a tree and a nativity's grotto.
 
However, the government says that it can afford to increase its expenditures on vital sectors, such as health and infrastructure.
