Future bloc: Hezbollah decides to deal a blow to Sleiman’s efforts

The Future bloc warned on Tuesday of the repercussions of the stance taken by “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc MP Mohammad Raad who spoke of a strategy of liberation not defense. The bloc noted that Hezbollah decided to deal a blow to all the efforts exerted by President Michel Sleiman pertaining to the resumption of the dialogue sessions.

Following its weekly meeting, the Future bloc considered that the only solution for the current crisis is the resignation of the cabinet, the formation of a “rescue cabinet” and the commitment to the Taef accord.

The bloc confirmed that it supports the Lebanese Army against instigators, stressing the importance of respecting the right to freedom of expression.
