Syrian violations on northern Lebanese border continue
Wadi Khaled residents question the reason behind indiscriminate shelling over border towns, particularly in al-Bekayaa and Wadi Khaled. The shelling hit the house of Mustafa Khalife, destroying large parts of his house.            

Later, it was revealed that this shelling was the result of the defection of a soldier at the Syrian customs point who launched an RPG shell on the customs center before being killed by other soldiers.
