Israel is expected to raise the “Northern Shield” operation at the United Nations Security Council session to be held on Wednesday, armed with allegations of existence of tunnels from Lebanon into Israel.
This session comes within a diplomatic and media campaign backed by the United States.
The session was called for by the United States in order to hold the Lebanese authorities responsible for Hezbollah digging these tunnels, after Israel claimed to have found a number of them.
