A handful of men on horseback sped through a small stretch of Saudi desert then simultaneously fired into the air, as an audience cheered them during an annual cultural festival in Saudi Arabia.
The men on horseback performed in the festival's equestrian arena, where they also recreated several moves that Arabian knights performed in the past.
The third edition of the safari festival in Abqaiq celebrated Saudi heritage, offering its visitors a window to learn about traditions.
The event featured ancestral dances including the Ardha war dance and the Daha dance, and bands regaled the attendees with folk music.
The festival aims to offer people a wide range of activities, including ventures that families can enjoy together, said the event organizer Mokbel al-Mokbel.
It comes during school holiday, giving the whole family a chance to attend the event together.
Another focus of the festival is give people options for winter tourism activities, Mokbel added.
The 10-day festival which kicked off on December 26 also celebrated the cultures of neighboring Gulf countries.
