Central, West Bekaa, Rachaya deputies hold government responsible for refugees’ relief

Deputies of Central, West Bekaa and Rachaya held the government on Saturday fully responsible for the relief of the Syrian displaced and providing them with an effective mechanism allowing them to find housing, food, medical care and treatment.

Following a meeting with the region’s official figures, the participants issued a statement whereby they called for protecting the refugees from being targeted by the Syrian regime.

The statement stressed that a follow up committee will be formed to keep up with the situation on the ground.
