Bukhari after meeting Gemayel: We will follow up on Saudi Finance Minister’s statements

Former President Amin Gemayel met on Thursday with Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari with talks touching on the overall situation.

Following the talks, Bukhari said that the meeting comes as "a sign of love and appreciation for [former] president and his guarantor role in Lebanon."

“We came to seek his insights and ideas to add value to the Kingdom's supportive policy in Lebanon that preserves Lebanon's security, sovereignty and stability," he added.

Bukhari said that he will follow up on the comments of the Saudi Minister of Finance from Davos about providing aid to Lebanon, adding that there will be some mechanisms to implement.
