Several draft laws pertaining to the public administration and the private sector media were the focus of the work of former Information Minister Melhem Riachy, according to him.
However, many issues were handed over to the new Minister Jamal al-Jarrah, including the appointment of a new chairman for the TeleLiban, a draft law to restructure the Information Ministry, introducing amendments to the Publications Act and submitting a draft law related to provided assistance to the paper press.
