Ministerial committee tasked with drafting Policy Statement holds 2nd meeting

The ministerial committee tasked with drafting the cabinet’s Policy Statement held a second meeting on Tuesday.

This as another meeting is expected to be held also tomorrow Wednesday at 2:00 PM.

Following the meeting, Minister Jarrah said that the wording of the previous ministerial statement regarding the resistance's article was adopted.

This as sources told LBCI that the article related to the Syrian refugees in the ministerial statement will include the following wording: "The government will continue to work with the international community to meet its obligations to address the burden of displacement and to respect the International charters, while insisting that the only solution is the safe return of displaced people to their country and the rejection of any form of integration into the host communities as the government renews its welcome to the Russian initiative. "

Prior to the meeting, Minister Ali Hassan Khalil ruled out any disagreement over the political articles.
